compactifications and function spaces on weighted semigruops

chapter one is devoted to a moderate discussion on preliminaries, according to our requirements. chapter two which is based on our work in (24) is devoted introducting weighted semigroups (s, w), and studying some famous function spaces on them, especially the relations between go (s, w) and other function speces are invesigated. in fact this chapter is a complement to (32). one of the main fea...

On Generalized Exponents of Tournaments

We determine two types of generalized exponent sets for tournaments with given order. In the course of proving the main results we find the following result, which may be interesting in its own right: When n is large enough, almost all tournaments on n vertices have the property that there is a path of length 2 from each vertex u to each vertex v 6= u.

Some results on generalized exponents

A digraph G = (V; E) is primitive if, for some positive integer k, there is a u ! v walk of length k for every pair u; v of vertices of V. The minimum such k is called the exponent of G, denoted exp(G). The exponent of a vertex u 2 V , denoted exp(u), is the least integer k such that there is a u ! v walk of length k for each v 2 V. For a set X V , exp(X) is the least integer k such that for ea...

Generalized Exponents and Forms

We consider generalized exponents of a finite reflection group acting on a real or complex vector space V . These integers are the degrees in which an irreducible representation of the group occurs in the coinvariant algebra. A basis for each isotypic component arises in a natural way from a basis of invariant generalized forms. We investigate twisted reflection representations (V tensor a line...

The Cherednik Kernel and Generalized Exponents

We show how the knowledge of the Fourier coefficients of the Cherednik kernel leads to combinatorial formulas for generalized exponents. We recover known formulas for generalized exponents of irreducible representations parameterized by dominant roots, and obtain new formulas for the generalized exponents for irreducible representations parameterized by the dominant elements of the root lattice...
